The ordeals of lifecasting.
Lifecasting is not easy; it's almost like a second job (except more fun and addictive).

The other day I was watching a popular lifecasting site, and I witnessed some disturbing clips--people doing heavy duty drugs on cam, or playing with knives in a way where they are seemingly trying to harm themselves.

This disturbs me, and it makes me realize, again, that there are troubled individuals out there around my age; just because I don't see it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.  And it saddens me.  How did people get this way, and most of all, why do they open themselves up to ridicule and judgment by doing it while streaming?

Why?  I can develop some reasons as to why . . . lack of attention?  Wanting someone to care?  Trying to be "cool" and "different"?  Who knows . . .

And where do these popular lifecasting sites draw the line and start banning lifecasters because of their, at times, illegal behaviors?  I don't know about you, but it sort of makes me lose respect for the sites, as well.  I mean, how do these sites even draw the line?  I understand on television you can censor content, but this is LIVE.  Is there a way to censor content?  And what will the future of lifecasting evolve into?

I know midnightAM is careful about our content and about our streamers (even guest streamers) by the way.  We do our best to monitor our site, and to make sure it's heading in the right direction.

Live Online Interaction

Hey guys! We had some suggestions to air at an earlier time so we'll be on at 8:30 pm pacific now to accommodate our east coast viewers and guest streamers! Don't miss our show cause we'll miss you and that's no lie!

Here's a recap of last week's show (which went great, by the way, thanks to all of your comments, opinions... all of your appreciated input!):
  • First date activities and "safe" topics of conversations
  • How do you feel if the women makes more money than the man in a marriage?
  • Expectations from your parents when you're still living at home.  Should they cook for you still, or are you old enough to take care of yourself?
  • When is a good time to have sex?
Tuesday night at 8:30 pm! Join us!
